As a "family coach" his mission is to help people achieve more satisfying relationships with themselves, their families, and with God. While endorsing the benefit that is available from certified therapists and licensed psychologists, Erik's pastoral approach is simple: combine the best psychological clinical practice with the best in Christian theology while listening attentively, discerning prayerfully, and exploring the principles of God's word which best address family needs. Referrals to appropriate resources (legal, financial, medical, psychiatric, etc.) are made as necessary. Because Jesus Christ is the best Counselor prayer is essential. Erik's motive for coaching families is his love of people and love of Jesus Christ.

His "family coaching" services are offered under the umbrella of Family Challenge Ministries, a non-profit organization governed by a board of dedicated Christian men and women committed to God and family. Our mission is to promote harmony, stability, and spirituality between spouses, siblings, and generations. Counselees are often referred by those who have been previously helped. Please tell a friend about our family counseling services.

How May We Help You?

At our first meeting we'll be asking questions, getting acquainted, and gathering information about your personal history. Each meeting will run 50 minutes. The number of meetings will be determined by your needs and the goals we set. When we decide your goals have been met then we'll discuss termination. Our fees are $70 per hour.

As much as we desire to cure problems, this is not our primary goal. Our goal is to help you understand the principles of God's word that relate to the issues you're facing and then brainstorm with you ways to apply those principles.

Hours/Locations

Erik makes his schedule as convenient as possible for those in school or in jobs that prevent day time appointment. He sees clients between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Monday through Thursday.
