The Talking Cure

Solomon knew what he was talking about when he said words have the power of life and death. In a private and confidential setting clients can explore emotional, relational, and spiritual topics. In the process of "drawing out" the purposes of our hearts we set goals, change thinking patterns, and relate differently to ourselves and others.

Individual topics

Some of the issues individuals discuss include:

  • anger management
  • handling fear
  • dealing with anxiety
  • obsessive thoughts
  • depression
  • lack of purpose
  • codependency
  • difficult habits
  • dealing with suffering
  • and more.

When understanding replaces confusion, clarity replaces distorted thinking, and truth replaces lies, we experience a new sense of freedom!

Relational topics

Our emotions are affected by how well we get along with others. Relational coaching includes these topics:

  • conflict resolution
  • fear of abandonment
  • pursuing and wooing
  • distancing and dismissiveness
  • asking forgiveness
  • granting forgiveness
  • and more.

Since we are designed to get along with others, as a relationship coach Erik shows you how.

Couples' therapy

This huge topic covers a variety of issues.

Prices

Erik is not set up to take insurance so clients pay either by check, credit card, or cash. Rates vary for different services:

  • Individual (adolescent and adult), couple, and family therapy
  • Divorce mediation, parenting plans, property disputes, and co-parenting coaching.
  • Phone consultation, letters, report writing
  • Corporate, business, and organizational mediation

We believe you will find our prices quite reasonable. We will be happy to quote you a price range over the phone, and we invite your inquiries.

  • premarital counseling
  • conflict resolution
  • affair recovery
  • dealing with irritations
  • dealing with unmet needs
  • sexual difficulties
  • communication glitches
  • and more.

Erik is not neutral on the value and importance of marriage. While he can't and won't impose his values on others, he is here to help couples achieve harmony.
